Kung Fu Boys are a kick … and punch

Kung Fu Boys

They’re silly. They’re funny. And you know what? They demonstrate proper martial arts technique. Seriously. These Kung Fu Boys (KANFUBOI) punch and kick and scream “KiA!” when turned on and left on your desk. But the really cool part is that with a special sound sensor, that enables them to “pounce” on unsuspecting intruders who happen to arrive at your desk and start looking around. Okay, so they don’t literarily pounce, but they scream out loud and offer a few punches and kicks for good measure. That’ll certainly cause any intruder to at least jump and draw attention to themselves.

Available in Japan for $18 each.

Gaming Table

Sure, it’s one step below building your own multi axis simulator, but this dedicated gaming table is still a cool, yet functional addition to just about any serious digital pilot or gamer seeking a little corner to blast away digital bits and while away the hours. Designed by joystick gurus over at CH Products, the table comes with three shelf levels with enough room for up to three twenty-one inch (21”) computer monitors, joy sticks, throttle controls, flight yoke/steering wheel, rudder pedals and keyboards.

RC Racing Bike actually leans to turn

R/C Racing bike leans

You’ve probably seen the dramatic photos or footage of motocycle racers as they lean into a turn, barely scraping their knees on the road in order to make the tightest possible turn. This is a technique that uses shifting weight to turn the bike, rather than solely relying on the handle bars. It also cuts into the air streamlined, rather than cutting across the side of the motorcycle causing a great amount of drag. And hey, it looks plain cool. So when Silverlit introduced this radio controlled Ducati racing bike that has a shifting rider to do make the turns in the same fashion, I thought man, how far we’ve come in making tech toys!

Will Redmond slash the cost of the Xbox again?

Xbox

Rumor has it that Microsoft is on the cusp of shipping a sub $200 Xbox, which would be the second time the popular game console has enjoyed a price drop amidst heavy sales, problematic “red circles” and heavy competition from the Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3 platforms.

Dr. Who Dalek Toy Wants to exterminate Us

Dalek

They’re pedantic. They’re annoying. But apparently, we can’t get enough of those wacky Daleks from Dr. Who. Bent on universal domination and the extermination of all mankind, these robot based religious zealots always manage to get in the Doctor’s way while they shoot his companions with lazer beams while screaming “exterminate!” So it would only make sense that we can get in on the action with an 18” voice command R/C Dalek to fulfill our dreams of global domination.

Dark Knight Toys have amazing detail

Tumbler 1

This Batman Toy Tumbler is one of the most detailed toys you’ll see out there. It’s also one of the most expensive. At 1/6 scale with Batman himself being a foot tall, this Bat Tumbler from Hot Toys is amazing. It comes with working light up headlights, a cockpit that opens by slidingup and down, and deployable breaking flaps. It weighs in at a hefty 28 pounds, which probably explains the stiff cost of $589 … shipping overseas for something like this just ain’t cheap. Too bad it isn’t an R/C as well.

We all know that the secret to Iron Man’s prowess is his suit. It’s also what allows him to fly just about everywhere. New Video Game helps kids cope with Cancer

Re-Mission 1

It’s just plain wrong that kids should have to contend with a battle against Cancer. But we all know that life can be mean sometimes and it happens all too often. So, God forbid, if your child should have to wage such a battle, it only makes sense to use tools that they find both natural and fun to help them cope with it. And if it’s true that play is work to a kid, then a video game that helps kids fight the cancer within them not only makes sense, it’s a life saver.

It’s no Rick Roll, and it may have been accidental, but it’s true. If you go to this link you’ll find a graphic that strongly hints of a PC demo of Bungi/Microsoft’s Halo 3.
