Mr. Potatohead becomes a web slinger
Spider Spud, Spider Spud. Does whatever a Spider Spud can. Spins a web, anytime Spider Spud, Spider Spud. Does whatever a Spider Spud can. Spins a web, anytime … well, you get the idea. Of course you had to see it coming. After creating Darth Tater, and Optimash Prime, was a Spiderman spin off of the classic Mr. Potato Head that far of a stretch? (Not to mention Artoo Potatoo, Spud Trooper, and a host of other movie tie ins.)
Spud thinks he’s Peter Parker (complete with dorky glasses) but then dons the signature Spidey spandex to battle the wicked villians of New York City. Comes with everything a good starchy arachnid needs to turn into a SuperHero … spud-shaped Spiderman costume, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, arms, shoes, Spidey Mask and some plastic web to swing from building to building or even hot plates with steak and butter. And for those who like their friendly neighborhood Spidey Spud taking a walk on the dark side, there’s even a black costumed model.
But what I want to know is … where’s “Spud Racer?”
Cost is around ten bucks (thirty for the Red/Black Spidey Spud set) and is available now.
