GI Joe Stop Motion Film Festival

GI Joe Film Festival

Growing up, GI Joe was the “Woody” of my toy chest. I had several Joes, some with kung fu grip and some with beards! And I’m not talking about those tiny action figures that went after the evil COBRA either. I’m talking about G.I. Joe. Complete with fatigues, canteen, M1 rifle and footlocker. And if I had something like the GI JOE Stop-Motion Film Festival to occupy my teen years, perhaps I would’ve made Joe into a cinematic star, rather than blowing him up with firecrackers.
