Hasbro has released Iron Man action figures just in time for the blockbuster movie starring Robet Downey, Jr., Gweneth Paltro, and directed by Jon Favreau of “Swingers” fame. The movie looks incredible and is rapidly showing that casting Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark was not only genius thanks to Downey’s sardonic humor, but also shows that RDJs drug problems are most definitely old news. This film will rock and make an excellent tentpole to the super hero genre. And the toys. Oh, the toys!
With two exclusives going to both Walmart and Target, the Hasbro action figures include a Walrmet Exclusive Stealth Operations Iron Man (War Machine) and Target Exclusive Red Repulsor Iron Man. Other figures include the Iron Man armor Mark 1, Mark 2 and the familiar red and gold Mark 3. There’s also the Iron Monger action figure, the bad apple of the bunch. All figures can be moved thanks to ball & socket head, ball & socket shoulders, double elbows, ball & socket wrists, ball & socket mid-torso, ball & socket hips with thigh ball swivel, double knees, and limited ball & socket ankles. The Mark 3 also comes with a light up search light in Iron Man’s chest.
Sweet.
