This P51 Mustang Pedal Plane may indeed be the coolest toys ever! At least, the coolest tricycle in existence. And at nearly $1,900 USD (£950) it’s also probably the most expensive (about $3,000 for a higher quality paint finish). But look at it! That sucker is COOL!
The Mustang Pedal plane comes with features like an unbreakable windshield and a 4 blade prop driven by the variable height pedal crank, aft radiator door, gear doors, exhaust stacks and the distinctive Mustang tail. It doesn’t get much more detailed either as the decals are based on the Chuck Yeager ‘Glamorous Glenn III’ model which was flown by Yeager with the 363rd Fighter Squadron.
Each Pedal Plane is hand made custom to order and takes about 20 weeks for delivery. Yikes. That’s a lot of time for interest on the old credit card. But seriously. This is a very COOL trike that’ll make your little aviator the envy of every kids on the flightline.
And he’ll be well qualified to taxi a tail dragger by the time he’s ready to graduate to two wheelers!
