Remote Control Shark for those Jaws Pool Parties

by James on May 24, 2008

Shark!

Wouldn’t it be great if you could send a shark around to scare all your friends over the summer without having them eaten alive by Carcharodon carcharias? You can now with this remote control swimming shark!

Swimming

Using an actual shark fin to swim and navigate, the Shark Attack shark angles it’s tail and fins to move left or right. A tiny propeller built into the head causes the shark to dive and surface. The shark is rechargeable via the display/charging stand and will take a ten minute charge for about 5 minutes of wreaking aquatic havoc. The shark is skinned in Rubber to make it waterproof and requires six AA batteries for the shark and a 9 volt battery for the R/C controller.

Shark R/C controller Shark Recharge

Available for $26.98 ($27.00 in disquise) from I WANT ONE OF THOSE. Where else?

These sharks range from $25 – $30. It is about 11 or 12 inches long, and about 3 inches in circumference. It weighs roughly 1/2 lb – 3/4 lb (this is a guess). You pretty much have to find it for sale online. Got mine through Ebay. The only problem is, nobody is willing to tell you how to fix it. Mine works great… except for the motor in the head, which makes it dive. Been trying to find out how to fix this for about 4 months, now.

And, no. It can’t open it’s mouth. It really doesn’t have a mouth. But, it’s the most realistic looking RC shark I’ve found for under $1,300.
