Crazy Forts give blankets an exo-skeleton

Crazy Forts

Every kid has done it. Taken chairs from the dining room table and draped blankets over them to make their own fortress of solitude. That rite of passage is the inspiration behind Crazy Forts, which seeks to move the furniture a lot less, and give the kids for interesting ways to drape their blankets.

Crazy Forts 2

The Crazy Fort kits come with just under 70 sticks and ball hubs with which to design and build a kid’s fort, leaving him with only the blanket to place over it. Ideas can include castles, tunnels, rockets, and even igloos. But with a kid’s imagination, it’s easy to see pyramids, pirate ships, and who knows what else. Placing more than one kit together makes for a larger edifice. There’s even connectors with built in LED lights so your kid can read in the private. The idea couldn’t be simpler and rather reminds me of the connector sets we had as kids.

Cost of the Crazy Fort is around $35 a kit. LED connectors are extra and will be coming soon.

My son was thrilled at Christmas when he received Crazy Forts as a gift. It was such a hit I’m glad I didnt give Santa credit!! Great product at a great price. I cant imagine any child not enjoying this really cool toy.
