With the Pixar blockbuster Wall*E destined to tear it up at the box office, it’s high time we took a look at the cute little tin can and the toys created in his honor. Here are some cute yet cool, Wall*E toys to look for in the stores:
U-Command WALL-E – $39.99
It was a natural to come out with a radio controlled Wall*E. He can be programmed for up to several thousand movement combinations which include 360° turns, a figure eight, light-up eyes and he even talks.
iDance WALL-E – $39.99
iDance Wall*E busts a move not matter what music device you connect him to. He picks up the music signal from the plug in and interprets the beat to rock out. The music plays through the speaker in his chest.
Interactive EVE – $48.98
Best way to keep Wall*E happy is to invite his girlfriend to the party, and this interactive Eve is no exception. With a wide range of movement including motorized head and arm contol, Eve will also interactive with the interactive version of Wall*E to the point where you almost have to ask them to get an interstellar room. But not quite.
The toys are scheduled to be released along with the film, of course. Meantime, here’s a few other Wall*E toys to occupy your imagination:
LEGO WALL*E This Lego Wall*E was built by Pixar animator Angus Maclane in hopes of motivating Lego to create a set. Sure motivates me to build it!
WALL*E Paper Model, official Disney Edition
This is a free download which you can cut out and assemble of the little quirky guy!
But what I don’t get is … where’s the Wall*E Happy Meal toys? Instead, McDonald’s poaches Burger King’s Star Wars tradition for themselves. Are they kidding?
