Timing with the release of George Lucas’ latest Star Wars Epic STAR WARS CLONE WARS, McDonalds will be having Happy Meal Toys for the very first time.

The collection is rumored include:

* R2-D2 comlink
* R2-D2 keeper
* Yoda light-up saber
* Darth Vader light-up saber
* Ewok plush
* Millennium Falcon lcd game
* Anakin pen and trainer pack
* Padmé pen and trainer pack

You can also bet there will be figures of main characters like Yoda, Jabba the Hut, Anakin, Obi Wan Kenobi, and a a mysterious new Padawan named Ahsoka Tano. Other characters are sure to include C3PO, R2D2, and perhaps a host of cool Clone Wars vehicles as well. Only time will tell.

The collection of 18 toys begins as a Happy Meal promotion on August 15th and will run for only four weeks. That should assure that the Star Wars faithful will be eating at least one meal a day in the hopes of getting the entire collection as a new rule will require the complete purchase of a Happy Meal in order to get a toy. Which can only spell food waste as collectors will simply buy the meal and toss it in order to secure any missing toys.
