nerf laser tag

The guys over Nerf get it. They know kids love to play army and have geared their battle line towards kids who fantasize about being G.I. Joe. So, how does Nerf compete with such digital rivals as CALL OF DUTY and MEDAL OF HONOR? Simple. They come out with a high tech lazer tag set called the Lazer Tag Multiplayer Battle System. INCOMING!

The Lazer Tag Multiplayer Battle System includes two Nerf Phoenix LTX dart guns that come complete with force feedback in the form of rumble and recoil. There is a manual reload system for the darts, and a laser pinpoint site. In addition, users can get the shot blasts attachment feature which widens the target area and boosts the score, which is kept digitally through the laser system. Although the system comes complete for two players, it can support an unlimited number of participants and budding soldiers in training can attach the Phoenix LTX to a TV for a first person laser tag shooter game.

Cost is about $80 at Amazon.com and is for ages 8 and up. Just make sure you don’t play inside or Mom will drop a bomb on all of you!
