Slicer is great for Winter and Summer Sledding

Slicer sledding

Winter is here. Snow is falling. And kids are looking for cardboard and a hill to go flying down it with Olympic like speed and danger. But heck, it’s fun, too. They run down snow covered hills in inner tubes, on skis, snowboards, and sleds designed to whirl bodies downhill and cut corners with rooster tail precision.. But what about summer time when the snow is gone and we still have that Sean White urge to shred a snowbank? That’s where the “Slicer” comes in.

The Slicer has a fun design feature of being able to take kids sledding down hill in both winter and summer conditions. So, whether one is flying down a snow covered hillside in winter, or sliding down the grassy knolls in summer, the Slicer let’s kids get radical either way. It does it with a very ingenious design which places ice at the bottom of the sled. With two removable “ICER” molds that simply need to be filled with water and placed into the freezer until rock solid frozen (which usually takes 24 to 48 hours). Then, attach the icers onto the underside of the sled and you’re flying downhill. One thing though, slipping down a hill is a lot harder to control than sledding through the snow. But the fun is there. And you don’t need that cup of cocoa to warm you up after. But isn’t that half the fun?

Slicer sells for about $70 from IceMiester
