It may not have made as much as Toy Story or the Incredibles, but the Disney family film Bolt is filled with plenty of giggles as an action star hero dog named Bolt takes off across the country looking for his fictitious master whom he believes is in trouble. And along the way, he picks up some strange friends who really make you laugh. And finally, toys based on the hit Disney movie are making their way into the market place. And kids will love em.
Toys include Rhino, the chunky hamster in a ball sidekick who helps Bolt make his way and finds his own adventure in the process. Now, granted, a stuffed animal in a hamster ball isn’t that exciting, but toss a few real hamsters in there and the fun really starts up. Cost is about $20.
Then, there’s two talking versions of Bolt himself. Squeezing a flush button will release on of three Super Barks and light up Bolt’s laser eyes. Kids can even make Bolt leap in the ear and wag his tail. These models run between $30 and $50 respectively.
For ages 3 and up.
