Wiggle Car fun, but dangerous …

Kids have always had a love affair with driving. It’s the one thing they don’t get to do until their practically adults. They love Hot Wheels, pretend their bikes are motor cycles, they even build race cars out of cardboard boxes. Yep, kids love to drive, even if they have no clue how to do it. The EZroller Wiggle Car may not be a car per se, but kids will love to drive it along anyway. Not that it’s altogether safe, though.

The EzRoller is like a combination bike and scooter. And although it has no pedals or chains, the car is propelled by moving one’s legs back and forth, thereby wiggling the the roller and moving it along. The steering is also accomplished by moving the front arm with legs to steer and turn. The basic configuration fits children ages 5-14 from 3’3″-4’5″. However, with extensions, a rider up to 5 ½ feet can run the EzRoller.

But the real question begs … is this really safe? I suppose that on a flat or even inclined ground that is controlled like a parking lot, the Ez Roller could be a ton of fun, but with its low lying profile and counter intuitive steer mechanism, it’s easy to see how a car couldn’t see it or an inexperienced operator could lose control.

Still, it makes for an interesting e-ticket ride if one can control that many variables.
