Trek Bikes takes the Big Wheel to a whole new level
Imagine if BMW had invented the Big Wheel. That’s really the design of Trek Bike’s Tricycle Mod. And it’s so slick and solid, that even adults would be tempted to take these bad boys for a spin. Just look out for the easy wipe out.
With heavy duty high tensile steel frame construction and 5 spoke front mag wheels (off set by plastic rears which is a bit of a let down) the Mod is made for serious tricycling that would put the Big Wheel to shame. It’s tough enough to fly downhill at incredible speeds, but it’s dialed in features will ensure that little ones can still enjoy an afternoon of burning up and down the sidewalk. The adjustable plastic seat fits kids and adults alike (okay, adults are pushing it) and front hand brakes will insure braking when needed (although too bad they didn’t have the hand brake where the Hot Wheel puts in for those cool spin outs).
Cost is just $189.99 ($200 in disguise), but the Mod is sure to last a LONG time with how it’s built. But I’d replace those small plastic rear wheels if you’re planning on doing some heavy duty racing.
This ain’t your daddy’s Big Wheel!
