recall
Two outdoor playsets sold at Toys are us are being recalled and consumers are being asked to stop using the products and return them. The plays sets, including the Step 2 Play Up Gym, and a 13 Foot Square trampoline made by Skywalker Holdings in Utah, both pose potential harm to youngsters playing on them due to factory defaults of parts which could cause the playsets to collapse, injuring the child playing on them.

gym

The problem with the Step 2 Play Up Gym comes with defective triangular hangars that attach to the ropes holding swings onto the gym. The hangars black plastic grommets can break pulling the triangular hangar off the crossbar and causing the swinger to fall to the ground. To recall was prompted after over 14 complaints were received of children falling from broken swings. Thankfully, no one was harmed. The defective hangers were included in Gym sets sold between January and April of this year.

To date, over 250 complaints have been received from Skywalker about broken straps, but again, luckily, no one was hurt.
