Last year, I was covering the Queen Mary Halloween Haunts and was simply stunned by the advances in chalk, paint and color used to decorate the macabre walls of the frightening maze. As you walk in, they give you 3D glasses and there’s ghouls sticking out of the walls in all it’s 3D glory! I was impressed, but figured it was the handy work of Hollywood professionals who deploys some super secret special effects technique to wow the senses. But it turns out that when it comes to making Chalk into 3D, Crayola thinks it’s child’s play.

The Crayola Giant Chalk 3D set contains a special chalk which, when applying the special techniques in the included “how-to” book will make for some truly eye popping art. The magic will be created when wearing the including 3D glasses which will make for some truly dimensional presentations.

And no matter what your skill level, 3D images can be created through contrasting colors from the dual ended chalk. And next thing you know, they’re creating award winning 3D designs for the local Chalk festival.

Prices start at $10 from Amazon.com
