Sega's Fireworks Projector for indoor celebrations.

Sega's Fireworks Projector for indoor celebrations.

I know we’re a few days late, but this toy is worth mentioning. Watching fireworks on TV completely misses on the “wow” factor. But often, especially on the 4th of July, your local community fireworks display – while providing the “wow,” can take forever to get home because of traffic. I know, a lame excuse. Then, there’s the effect on the environment. And if you want to be “green” in your celebrations, then perhaps Sega’s new Uchiago Hanabi Fireworks Projector can give you a bit of the “Ooooos” and “Ahhhhhhs” at home without the TV and without the traffic.

Powered by four AA batteries – which will run it for up to three hours (that’s some long display) the Fireworks Projector create a virtual fireworks display by preset fireworks shows. Or, if you wish, you can customize your own fireworks byu drawing them on special plates that come with the Projector.

The display is completely virtual and may seem more like a high tech light show, but it’s still kinda cool – it even displays the glowing orb as it flies into the sky before “exploding.” All needs is to add sound effects on the home theater and a stirring Patrotic medley!
