Outback Toys teach kids about Farming
Farming is tough work, but farmers feed the world. Even though the process is becoming more automated and corporate, the traditional and romantic notion of the farmer tilling the soil on his tractor is still a reality for a great deal of the world. So why not make toys to teach kids not only this noble profession, but how fun it is while being a kid? Enter Outback Toys.
The toys are distributed right along real farm equipment thanks to dealers Binkley and Hurst Brothers. Choices are vast with over 96 different toy items including Pedal Tractors (for boys and girls) for kids to ride on, small attachments to pretend to harvest wheat, and there’s even small scale bails of hay. The Tractors are made to resemble classic brands like Oliver and Farmall, and even, of couse, John Deere and International Harvester.
Outback farming toys are great for both girls and boys
The toys are designed and made by Joe Ertl’s Scale Models of Dyersville, Iowa, and are available online at the Outback Toy Store.
