The Metal Speedster is American Graffiti for toddlers
Ride along toys are very cool and it’s really too bad that they came out too late for me to enjoy them. I missed big wheels, sit in spins, even Razors. But the Metal Speedster may be the coolest ride along toy since the Big Wheel.
Made out of high quality steel that’s brightly colored in mustard yellow and flames of hot rod red, the Speedster uses actual rubber wheels – not the slicky plastic models used by other ride alongs. There’s a steering wheel and a “beep beep” horn as well.
The Metal Speedster can handle kids up to 42 pounds. There is some assembly required – and you have to be careful with small parts that are a choking hazard. But for around $80, it’ll make a great ride along for older toddlers.
