Dora Links, a 21st century adventurer for 21st century girls
Dora the Explorer made headlines awhile back when it was announced she was getting a makeover to follow the audience that had outgrown her. Thus, the Dora Links Doll was born, and it has a 21st century feature.
Targeted to “tech saavy” 5-8 year olds, Dora Links can be plugged into a child’s computer via USB cable and access hidden features at the DoraLinks.com website. Girls can customized Dora with different color eyes online and watch those eyes change on their own Dora doll. And in pure Dora the Explorer style, she can solve online mysteries and learn about such tree hugging values as volunteerism, water conservation and planting of trees to help the environment. And Dora has a group of new friends. Gone is the glowing tailed monkey or the kleptomaniac fox. Dora’s friends Naiya, Emma, Kate and Alana are there to help Dora on her adventure.
