When you spend half your life looking up at adults, it’s not surprising that kids love to play on stilts. Anything that will make them taller and allow them to look at life from above is bound to gain a young one’s interest and these Easy Balance Stilts not only do that, but with the added advantage of helping them build motor skills and confidence as they learn to walk tall.

The Easy Balance Stilts are built out of 18 guage steel polls and have no-slip footposts about a foot off the ground. This way, if kids lose their balance and fall, they don’t go very far to the ground. But the key to this design is the armrests of the stilts themselves. Instead of being straight, these stilts are slightly curved around the shoulder blades to provide stability as little ones learn to walk on them. And with foam cushioning, kids won’t complain of being rubbed raw by the hardened steel either.

The Stilts are also adjustable so kids can get a lot of use out of them as they grow. And being capable of supporting up to a hefty 220 pounds, the Easy Balance Stilts are about 6 and a half feet tall fully extended and are for ages 6 and up.

Cost is about $50 at Hammacher.
