Mattrax Powerboard adds power to snowboarding
The thing about snowboarding is that you kinda need a slope to get shred. If you want to go into the “backcountry,” and it’s flatland, you’re not going very far. Unless you have a Mattracks Powerboard.
Think of the Mattracks as a snowboard meets a snowmobile. The Mattracks works with a built in motorized track which causes the snowboard to glide along the snow (and the occasional rough patch).
Even on flat terrain, the Mattracks can give snowboarders some Big Air.
The Mattracks is powered by a 200 CC engine which allows it to get up to about 18 miles an hour and steering is accomplished much like a regular snowboard in that the rider shifts his weight to carve a groove in the snow. And with the additional adjustable T-Bar handle, riders have more leverage and stability to overcome that extra weight of the power train.
Snowboarders can also build enough speed to get some air on the occasional bump and still be able to cut grooves since the Mattracks still steers like a regular snowboard.
