Lego Hero Factory will replace the confusion Bionicle line this summer.
Lego is making plans to replace the woefully confusing BIONICLE toy line with a new robotic line which looks pretty much on it’s face like Bionicle but with the name LEGO HERO FACTORY. It only makes sense. Kids like the Bionicle Lego Line itself, but the storyline was so convoluted and confusing, one needed a program to even understand who was who and why they were who they were. It really made no sense. Hero Factory is very simple. It’s a robot hero built to save the universe.
Each Hero is designed, equipped and built for special missions that take place all over the galaxy and through time. The Hero’s travel through time and space in their hero pods to reach their mission destination and to battle evil robots who get in the way. Check out the video here:
There is a wide variety of missions and hero’s to keep things interesting. Each comes armed with custom weapons and tools , and prices range around $8.00 for each hero. Available come August, 2010.

my new lego magazine came in the mail today,and to my point on view,nothings cool about lego any more,the whole big theme in the persian prince and toy story,and lego universe took place in the comic book we get in the magazines.it did say a little bit of hero factory tho,ill quote it for you guys:

i started in 2005 and mah first set was horidika vakama i will miss bionicle but hero factory looks cool but there was a problem with bionicle on yt over time peeps went insane for MOcing iv seen vids were young kids were drumed of of youtube saying just stupid things the pices were wrong other crud that like wat the JANG said before hero factory will might let them do things more freely.

they cancelled Bionicle for THIS?!?!? this is the worst idea lego’s had since the Barraki (arms 2x the size of legs? get real)! the arms are puny, the elbows and knees probably don’t bend, they look like they’re wearing baggy pants, and have you HEARD the names? plus the white one looks like a sad Clone Trooper.

Don’t get me wrong these look cool and all but, WHY CANCEL BIONICLE. Those “things” are just bionicles with stupid names (Preston Stormer? I checked out building instuctions for Hero Factory on the website, and you are not gonna believe this…HERO FACTORY IS JUST AGORI I MEAN HONESTLY, AGORI, AND BECAUSE THEY ARE AGORI THEY DON’T HAVE MOVABLE LIMBS!!!!!!!!!!! THIS JUST PROVES ALL OF MY POINTS!!!!!!!
Bionicles were and are my escape, when school was overwhelming Bionicles were my way out of the real world. With them gone I’m stuck here.
I’m gonna give “Hero Factory” 4 weeks tops.No way they are gonna sell.

what the heck i acully only had bionicles they were my favorite thing ever in lego but now what the heck the story isnt very comfusing and now there leaving. PS no matter what anyone says i will love bionicles and all call LEGO HERO FACTORY bionicles.
I got one of the sets. I know the storyline will be stupid, and nothing like the Bionicle storyline. But it actually looks interesting. It is NOT a step up from rescue heroes. I mean, give it a chance! How many people thought bionicle was stupid when it first came out? Just give it a chance, and see what happens.

I do like Lego Hero Factory, but me and my brother are really, really, really upset about you getting rid of Bionicles. Why can’t you make Bionicles and Hero Factory? If you could make more Bionicles, I would be a Lego Fan again!

Ok guys if you look closely at the HERO FACTORY leg armor you’ll notice that mix between toa metru leg armor, and mata nui shin guards. I MEAN COME ON THINK OF SOMETHING ORIGINAL!!
Ok you guys know that i keep ripping in HERO FACTORY but, just to see what they where replacing BIONICLE with I went out and bought one called CORRODER I have to admit that it is pretty cool. It made me rethink things(I mean this is probably how the fans of THROWBOTS fet when the were replaced by BIONICLE).
Hey everyone! My friend got two “Hero Factories” and gave me one to Moc(my own creation.) It was the green one. (1) Lego lies on the package in small silver letters”BIONICLE.” Really… then I live on mars! (2) The only thing that their good for Mocing is the mask/helmet. I gave the peices that i didn’t use( I did use the weapon things) to myyounger cousin with a gresh mask. I hate hero factory but I’ll say this. If you do get a “Hero Factory” get one you like the mask of and have ideas for. Now my Zacktor(Moced Natelie Stormer) is a bionicle ready to join Mata Nui’s forces. She now under stands and I end with…….. UNITY…….DUTY……..DESTINY…….FOREVER

I take back every bad thing I ever said about HERO FACTORY the sets are great, the pieces (new and old) work amazingly well, and work ggreat with the sets. I’m more of a M.O.C-er than a collector so i really just buy sets for the pieces and HREO FACTORY has amazing pieces. M.O.C-ers and collectors unite, LEGO HERO FACTORY has somthing for all of us.

Bionicle was the only form of lego sets that i had ever cared to like, i wish that they’d continue bionicle, but a few of the bigger sets are actually a little cool.. i got the VON NEBULA set and after adding a lower arm section / elbow his arms looked like actual limbs and not as two little nubs w/ hands. His legs were awesome and only needed a little tweak or two. i upgraded his back by adding the chest plate of stringer to it causing him to look like he has huge speakers in his back.using psp go nxt.
i placed a red micro led bulb in his head to make his eyes light up same for his back. i seriously revamped his staff by and i know this will sound impossible but i turned it into a lazer staff that shoots a totaly awesome purple lazer, and it has four blades instead of two, if you look at it from the front they form an x / cross shape like a mace. if i had more money i could finish my life sized version, it’s purple lazer has a radius of 2.5 inches and can slice / melt through everything that i’ve nxt pg.
tried it on. the finished product will also have the 4 blades, but they will also spin around the lazer very rapidly as it fires it’s long continuous beam. The staff part itself will be clear and contain a green or red lightening that travels through it continuously also giving off light.
Hero Factory Hater(dude’s screen name), I really think that you should not rip on Hero Factory unless you have already bought one and seen for yourself that they suck THEN you have an argument. Besides the fans of the LEGO THROW BOTS(a toy that was cancelled by BIONICLE) probably felt the same way when BIONICLE cancelled THROW BOTS.

atleast 2011 versions are more MOCble. but the television series are, ugh, just terrible. why did lego hire those creators of the legend reborn? all they do is make up horrible childish jokes and hire horrible voices and barely stick to the subject. lego is seriously gonna bank rupt soon if they don’t stop making up childish subjects.

THEY KILLED THE BEST LEGO PRODUCT EVER
All 4 of my little brothers got sets. They SUCKED CRAP. Stringer and Bluk’s weapon arms are hollow on the inside, and they’re all pretty much cheap knock offs of the Stars. I have seen the bigger sets like firelord and Von Nebula, but they didn’t live up to my expectations. They can build them is 30 minutes or less. Nothing like the visorak battle ram that took them hours to build. The storyline isn’t any better. None of the episodes relevance to each other. I don’t know what the heck they were talking about when they said that Bionicle’s storyline was confusing. I only started liking it a year ago and I’ve gotten a very clear picture of what happened since 2000. I know that people who liked the product before Bionicle were ticked when it ended, but Bionicles was a big hit with a variety of ages. Bionicle was biomechanical robots with elemental powers that could actually put up s fight. Hero Factory is a bunch of robots fighting inter galactic crime who can get knocked out in a couple of seconds. I know that Bionicles won’t come back, but I can’t help but rant.
