Journey into Tony Stark's hidden sanctum with the Mega Blocks Hall of Armor

While Indiana Jones, Luke Skywalker and even the Prince of Persia are kicking it with LEGO, Tony Stark is setting his own course by signing with Mega Blocks for Iron Man 2. And in spite of being with a second tier Lego copycat, the toys are SWEET!

I’m not much of a Mega Blocks fan to be honest. But you have to appreciate how cool these Iron Man brick sets are. First there’s the Hall of Armor, a 170 piece buildable playset which is housed inside of Iron Man’s iconic red and gold helmet. Inside all of Tony Stark’s armor suits are housed along with a repair arm operated by “Jarvis.” The Hall of Armor playset includes buildable Mark II and Mark VI suits along with a three foot wire to make Iron Man fly around. Cost is about $30.

One scene in Iron Man 2 I can’t wait to see if where Tony is being attacked by whiplash at an auto race and he gets thrown a brief case which transforms into his portable Iron Man suit. Coming complete with replica briefcase, the 46 piece set is magnetic for easy construction. Also included are three different armor sets which use magnetic pieces to form in seconds. And you can even mix and match to make dozens, if not hundreds of different armor combinations. Price is around $20.

Lastly is the Mega Block Iron Man 2 Tech Bot kits which build 10 inch Iron Man or War Machine “Techbots.” The 40 piece kits are interchangeable to create different iron man combinations and come with working dart launchers and display stands. Cost is $15.

There are several others in the Mega Block Iron Man 2 collection that are worthy of note and fans should head on over to the nearest TRU to see them. Meanwhile, I’m off to the movies!

i bought MEGABLOCKS HALL OF ARMOUR for mygrandson`s christmas. When he tried to build it, we found that the iron man`s head was not a good fit with the base. I sat for a long time building it up only for it to fall down again. My grandson was not a happy little boy because even the slide for the iron men was very flimsy indeed, it just kept on collapsing. Dont get me wrong ,it could be a fantastic toy, only if it was more substantial, after all it wasn`t cheap.
I would be very grateful if you could give me some feedback on this product. Thankyou
Mrs A , a very disgruntled Grandmother
