Elvis Potato Head is one of two special collectibles of the King of Rock n Roll.
Keeping with today’s seemingly Mr. Potato Head theme, is this little diddy that Hasbro is releasing a Mr. Potato Head Elvis Presley. The lovable spud toy, who was KISS last year, continues as the King in a series of special collectible.
Elvis Potato Head will be officially released this August at a special ceremony that coincides with Elvis Week at Graceland in Memphis Tennessee. The toy comes with the iconic white jumpsuit, microphone, and guitar which hangs from his neck and rarely gets played. Another version, coming out for Christmas, will feature the King of Spuds in a black jumpsuit that pays tribute to the 1968 television “comeback special” which brought Elvis out of the Army and back where he belongs on stage wiggling that pelvis.
But make no mistake, these are collectibles and as such, will only be found at specialty stores and e-tailers near you, not to mention in over-priced auctions on eBay.
