When a popular cable show like The Mythbusters start coming out with toy science kits, one has to wonder, are they trying to teach kids how to separate myth from real world kid science, or are they just selling out and cashing in? Well, from a kids point of view … does it really matter?

The Mythbusters Weird World of Water looks like just the kind if fun experiment kit that makes kids want to learn. The kit teaches kids about the “elusive substances of water,” and show kids how to make various water phenomenons and bust the myths that surround them, learn the scientific method handson, and have a wet and wild time doing it.

    The Kit includes:

Activity guide, 15 yellow beads, 3 pieces of balsa wood, 2 soda bottles and caps, clear cylinder, clear straw, clear tube, fin holder, funnel, glitter, nose cone, pipette, red and yellow food coloring, stopper assembly, and vortex connector.

Myths kids can “bust,” include Pantry Projectile, Deadly Vortex, and Man Who Could Walk on Water.

Cost is under $20 from Think Geek
