Hasbro's ComiCon Marvel Exclusives - CT wants that Captain America!
Part II of our ComiCon Toy coverage continues with exclusives which will only be available at ComiCon International in San Diego July 22-25. Today, we’re looking at Hasbro and it’s exclusive convention exclusives of Marvel Comics Toys.
This year, the Hasbro booth will have 3 3/4″ figures of Thor from Ages of Thunder, Spiderman glad in his movie costume (note the silverish glinting of his web) and Captain America based on his WOrld War II configuration complete with leather boots and leggings, GI Issue Colt 1911 .45 pistol, original shield with pointed top and Army helmet with the bold “A” on top.
As always, collectors who are attending the annual pop culture fest with thousands of their closest friends should be mindful to get to the booths early if they hope to land a set of these beauties. Limited quantities are available and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Although CT believes that they will be rationing out these exclusives over the entire 4 day convention so if you miss one day, you can try coming back all the more earlier the next. But make sure to ASK what their plans are just in case!
