This limited edition Tron Light Cycle will sell for $5 at Comicon

Today we look at Disney Toy Exclusives which will be available at the Comicon International convention this weekend in San Diego. Disney Consumer products farms out their precious intellectual property across a vast swath of toy enterprises, so we’re going to be covering a lot of ground real fast. Try and keep up.

Boom Studios, the artists that make Disney comics will be providing three exclusive “blank cover” comic books which will then enable the artists at the booth sketch out a one of a kind cover. The three graphic mags will be for Toy Story #5, Cars “Get a Sketch” #7 and The Muppet Show #7. There will be a limited run of 500 copies of each and will sell for $20. An artist premium may also be charged for sketching the one of a kind cover and fans will also have to wait in a separate queue after purchasing the blank edition.

Diamond Toys will be offering some unique ComiCon Disney exclusives including a Matter Hatter Ultimate Detail Figure Chess Piece in a limited run of 1500 for about $20 each.

Disney Consumer Products also will be selling 3000 die-cast Light Cycle toys for $5 each and a vintage Figure of Tron accepting his programming disc in the cool light of the download beam. The vintage figure will come in a Tron Game Box packaging and is limited to 1500 pieces for $40.

As always, all toys are in limited supplies so you’ll want to get to the booth early so you don’t miss out!
