CBS Consumer products weighs in with this years ComiCon exclusives with a series of Star Trek related prizes …
At the CBS Booth itself, there will be a celebration of the relaunch of StarTrek.com with give aways of exclusive Star Trek watches in four colors – yellow, blue, red and black, and in VERY limited supplies of 400 each. SO get there early. There will also be a series of seven collectible buttons which will reflect each series including The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, The Animated Series and the Enterprise from last year’s film directed by JJ Abrahms. But they won’t make it easy to find them all. Collectors will find The Animated Series Enterprise buttons at the CBS booth with the other buttons at the booths of Star Trek partners all around the convention center. Quite the challenge.
Hallmark will be showing off their 2010 Christmas ornaments featuring Captain Kirk vs. Spoke from the episode Amock Time and the new alternate USS Enterprise from last year’s film. They’ll also be featuring on display prototypes for next year’s 2011 line of collectible Star Trek ornaments.
And Quantum Mechanix will be showing off replicas of various props including the Enterprise Phaser and a Star Fleet class ring (oh I gots to get me one of these!).
