Free DIY Universal Connector Kit adds more freedom to your LEGOs
My son is really manic when it comes to brick building toys. He wants LEGOs, he wants MEGA BLOKS, he’ll take anything that snaps together and builds something. Which makes it quite the challenge to keep him focused on one brick maker so that he can get the most out of them by combining them together. But maybe that doesn’t have to be the case anymore … with this Free Universal Construction Kit. All I need is a 3D printer.
The Free Universal Connection Kit can connect with parts from other kits like Lego®, Duplo®, Fischertechnik®, Gears! Gears! Gears!®, K’Nex®, Krinkles®, Lincoln Logs®, Tinkertoy®, Zome®, and Zoob®. The “kit” is actually a series of digital 3D files that can be printed by a 3D printer (otherwise known as a rapid prototyper). They are printed by using a plastic powder which can be melted as it’s printed kinda like a laser printer uses an ink powder cartridge that then sprays and heats the powder onto the surface. Imagine being able to order a toy online at Amazon.com, downloading the files, printing the parts and putting it together?! It’s the future of toys, I tell you.
