Barbie comes to the Ballroom with Dancing with the Stars

OK girls, how many of you pull out your Barbies after an hour of watching Dancing with the Stars and dream of doing the paso doble with Maxim Cherikovsky? Or maybe it’s Derek Hough or Mark Ballas? You know you do. Well, Mattel has your back with a new line of Barbie Dolls that would make even Len Goodman give a “10.”

Dancing with the Stars is one of the hottest shows on television in the United States, and BarbieĀ® watches too!

There are three collectible Dancing with the Stars Barbies including a Samba Barbie, a Paso Doble Barbie and Vienese Waltz Barbie.

Samba Barbie, dressed to dance the rhythmic and exuberant Brazillian party dance, is dressed in an orange two-piece costume with a open skirt accented with yellow feathers and pink and orange organza. With her gold dancing shoes already on, Barbie is ready to dance the dance of Carnival!

Paso Doble Barbie is dressed dramatically in red red satin and black lace. Hoops in the dress link the skirt to Barbie dolls hand for a dramatic, sweeping effect. Drop earrings and a gold bangle complete the look. With her black dancing shoes already on, Barbie doll is ready to find a partner and dance the dance that always requires two.

Finally, there’s the elegant Viennese Waltz Barbie, who’s her strapless pink gown is trimmed with diamonds for a sparkling effect on the dance floor. Glittering jewelry matches the gown, and her silver dancing shoes, meaning that Barbie is ready to dance the dance that never goes out of fashion.

All three dolls run about $35-40, and there’s also a Waltz Barbie and an Argentine Tango Barbie. All available at Amazon.com.
