Hasbro Announces a HUGE Avengers Helicarrier Exclusive for ComiCon
Hasbro is turning things up to 11 for this year’s ComiCon by offering this HUGE Avengers S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier exclusive. Oh wow. How in the world am I going to fit this in my bag?!
The HeliCarrier is S.H.I.E.L.D.’s command post and military base, which serves as the inner sanctum for Nick Fury and the Avengers while they attempt to figure out what Loki has planned for the planet earth. The limited edition exclusive comes with two special-edition action figures of Captain America and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill, along with a bevy of additional firepower, wrapped in a slick package that looks like a work of art in and of itself thanks to the talents of artist Joe Quesada..
We saw a smaller version of the Helicarrier at the New York Toy Fair, but reports are that the ComiCon exclusive is a full 25% larger. And with that type of size, you can bet it’ll turn heads as you wander through the main hall of the San Diego Convention Center. The cost for this four foot long Hasbro Avengers Helicarrier is $129.99, and will available while supplies last. And you can bet that the popularity of this toy will mean that Hasbro will likely ration them out every day, so if you get there and they’re sold out, you can probably come back the next day all the more earlier.
