Chalk City Road Maker Helps Kids Learn to Ride

One of my son’s favorite merit badges in Cub Scouts was bike riding. He enjoyed earning that one because not only did he learn to ride his ride, but he also won a bike competition that got him a medal for it as well. Toys R Us previews back packs in time for Back to School
It’s right around the corner. But now, kids are bored out of their skulls, but they’re simply dreading the return to school. LEGO Gives the Hobbit and Unexpected Journey via Board Game

LEGOs board games are very popular because it enables kids to not only play the game, but build it. That presents some great imaginative play as kids either build the game as directed, or make up their own “unexpected journey” around the board. So when LEGO announced that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was getting it’s own LEGO board game, it made plenty of sense, and looks like it’s lots of fun.

MiniMates has a cool Munsters set …

The Munsters. It was a terrible sitcom about a family of monsters living in the city, but it was still cool. Not only because of the cool theme song done by the Ventures, but also because of a pair of sweet hot rods used in the show, one made of a model A and the other made out of a coffin. But that was in the 60s. There was a failed attempt at a reboot in the 90s, and NBC Universal is trying again with MockingBird Lane. And MiniMates is getting on the bandwagon with a cool set of Munsters Minimates. Cue the Ventures please, while we take a look!
