Oh man, my boy is going to be completely psyched! LEGO has releasing several assembly sets based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! And look at the image above and tell me that those aren’t some of the coolest pizza loving minifigures you’ve ever seen? Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello. Plus, there’s Master Splinter, Shredder and the Foot. It’s a great starting set!

As expected, Diamond Select Toys has previewed the latest line of Marvel Super Hero Minimates – this time focusing on the upcoming commercial tie in with the Disney/Marvel blockbuster The Avengers. The Avengers Minimates feature Captain America, Iron Man (in his Mk. 7 suit), Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nicki Fury, and the villain Loki.

ComiCon Resale Badges sell out fast

Yesterday, we reported that ComiCon International was about to start selling 4-day resale badges to the annual San Diego ComiCon. Normally, the Con is so popular it sells out the year before as the faithful buy next year’s tickets while they’re still enjoying themselves. And then, as life is known to get in the way of having a good time, resale badge sales pop up as cancellations occur. Today was the day that ComiCon had their resale of 4 day badges. The sale was announced one hour beforehand and it was over about an hour and half after that.

One comic book series ends, another is reborn …

Marvel comics has announced that Uncanny XMen will be coming to an end with issue #544. The final issue, due out in October, will be written by Kieron Gillen with art by Greg Land, and will tie up any lose ends events set up in the upcoming in X-Men: Schism.
