If you’d love to fulfill that lightsaber fantasy, StarWars has a cool new site for you. It’s called JointheJedi.com and it features not only tips and tricks from a Jedi Master on the Art of the Lightsaber, but there’s also a contest to win one of 2,000 Hasbro Ultimate FX Lightsabers and a chance to have your moves featured in an upcoming Season 5 episode of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS!
Over at the site, budding Padawans can train like a Jedi with a master Jedi through a series of video sessions designed to sharpen your lightsaber skills, they can also post a photo of them in their Jedi best or disguised as Anakin, Yoda or other Clone Wars characters. And finally, they can act Like a Jedi – by submitting their best lightsaber moves with the Hasbro Ultimate FX Lightsaber. The best move will be chosen to be animated.

Thankfully, I found this cool Instructable (with video) on how to make a very realistic shield out of cardboard and duct tape. Sweet!
