LEGO Gives the Hobbit and Unexpected Journey via Board Game

LEGOs board games are very popular because it enables kids to not only play the game, but build it. That presents some great imaginative play as kids either build the game as directed, or make up their own “unexpected journey” around the board. So when LEGO announced that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was getting it’s own LEGO board game, it made plenty of sense, and looks like it’s lots of fun.

Lego Star Wars III to be in 3D for DS
Taking advantage of the new 3D capability of the new Nintendo 3DS, LucasFilm and Lego are hot to release the new Lego Star Wars III. And it not only looks fun, but there’s some sweet new graphics and great gameplay to be had. Check out the video:
This time, the game will go through the Clone Wars and will pit Obi Wan and Anakin with and against characters based on the hit Cartoon Network series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. And it looks three times the fun!

They’re fowls with a grudge and I don’t think they’ll be happy until they’ve taken over the toy world completely. It’s really something amazing. Angry Birds, the runaway iPhone app that’s coming to every single gaming platform ever conceived is now coming to tabletops with a board game edition. That’s right, the Birds have a grudge to bear and they want the family involved big time.
