Green Hornet Toys come to Carl’s Jr. Based on the upcoming Columbia Pictures film starring Seth Rogan as the Green Hornet/Reid Richards, and Jay Chou as Kato. The film will be released in January, but the toys are available right now with the purchase of a Carl’s Cool Kids Meal. As you may have noticed, the Golden Arches has been catching a lot of heat lately over the tempting and high fat based meals they serve to kids who beg parents for them because of the toy that’s included.
Organizations like Center for Science in the Public Interest (aka the Food Nazi’s) have a hair up their collective arses over the fact that going to McDonalds is fun. Santa Clara middle school kids are overweight or obese.
Yeah, it has nothing to do with the fact that local schools serve pizza EVERY DAY at lunch. Or that schools are cutting PE from their curriculum in an effort to save money. Or that most fast food places have adopted healthier choices like fruit and salads to add to a meal in place of french fries. Or that parents are responsible for actually parenting their kids. No. Let’s play “nanny,” and blame the Golden Arches!
What do you think, gang?
