I don’t usually post Lego creations simply because if there’s no real set, if there’s no directions on how to recreate it, then really, what’s the point? Why can’t we have the fun. But this Doctor Who TARDIS Console Room is just amazing. And once I show it to my son, it’s going to make the What Cody Wants list. So come one, Lego, give this guy a job and release it!

It’s called 360 ball. And it’s rather like ping pong meets racquet ball. But it reminds me a lot of Triad from Battlestar Galactica. But it looks like one heck of a workout for those who love to play sports.

You remember the toy ANT FARM. Sadly, CT must report that the creator of Ant Farm has passed away.
Milton Levine, died on January 16 at age 97. He created what the Toy Industry Association has called one of the top 100 toys of all time, a plastic shell with sand and ants inside and decorated with farm tools and animals.
Since 1956, the Westlake Village based Uncle Milton toys has sold more than 20 million of them, making it not only one of the top 100, but obviously one of the coolest toys of all time.
RIP Until Milton.
Taking advantage of the new 3D capability of the new Nintendo 3DS, LucasFilm and Lego are hot to release the new Lego Star Wars III. And it not only looks fun, but there’s some sweet new graphics and great gameplay to be had. Check out the video:
This time, the game will go through the Clone Wars and will pit Obi Wan and Anakin with and against characters based on the hit Cartoon Network series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. And it looks three times the fun!

With the 11th Annual Toy of the Year Awards coming in a few weeks, Coolest-Toys is making it’s picks for the coveted award. Here’s a few more from the list:
GIRL TOY – in today’s YouTube culture, we’re drinking the kool-aid and going with Video Barbie, that iconic doll with a video camera in her chest so girls can make videos of play time. Sure, it’s getting alarm and doom from toy watchers for the potential of bad guys to use Video barbie as a lure, but a piece of candy does quite as well, are we right? And judging by the fact CT already knows that the Hot Wheels Video Racer will be the boy toy of the year next ear, we think this is a game changer.
INNOVATIVE TOY – the competition was tight in this category with big names from the others like Video Barbie, Lego Minotaur, Paper Jamz, and others chiming in. But we’re going with Lego Minotaur. A game with infinite combinations to keep it fresh has to be the very picture of innovation. Besides, Video Barbie, for some reason, wasn’t nominated.
OUTDOOR TOY – The winner here is anything with wheels. Seriously, there’s several of them in this category including Razors and Whiplash for sidewalk surfin’ and the VBike for toddlers, and frankly, if any of these toys gets kids out of the house and moving, they’re a winner in our book.
Results for the 11th Annual Toy will be reduced February 13, 2011.
Meanwhile, hit comment below and let us know what you think would win in these categories!
I don’t know if it’s because the Mindflex wasn’t hard enough (and as such, kids simply got bored with it) or because everyone thought it was a fake, but Mattel is upping the ante by making Mindflex 2 twice as hard and twice as large. That’ll show us.

I know that pet toys aren’t for us lowly humans (unless you’re my brother) but dogs and cats need playthings too! That’s why I thought it was a good idea to report that thePaws.com, an online animal lover e-commerce website is offering a free dog or cat toy to the first 20,0000 who sign up with the fill out of a simple form.
Swing by this link and give them your name, address, email, etc. Answer a few questions about your pets and create a username and password. Users will be signing up for thePaws.com free newsletter as well.
No purchase necessary. Allow the usual 4-6 weeks for delivery. The site is also offering store credit if users recommend others to the site, so it’s a gift that could keep on giving. We’ll let you know what kind of toy we get.
