Earlier this week, we mentioned that MEGABLOKS was countering LEGO’s movie lines by releasing sets based on video games. Well, looks like LEGO has answered by digging into a licensing agreement with a video game property of their own … the 8 bit obsession known as Minecraft.

Hasbro reveals BattleShip Kre-O at New York Toy Fair

This week is Toy Fair in New York, the annual showcase of toys for the upcoming season. And Hasbro as a serious presence for Kre-O. The other day, we reported that Hasbro would be releasing Star Trek Kre-O toys for 2013 in support of the new Paramount Sequel by JJ Abrams. And a few months back we reported on leaked images of BattleShip Kre-Os in Japan, but were uncertain if it really was. Now we have a complete breakdown of what Hasbro has planned for their premiere board game which premiere’s as a major motion picture this year. And Kre-O is a part of it in a major way. Hasbro’s Kre-O heading to the final frontier

Hasbro has announced that they are expanding the Kre-O line beyond Transformers. To support the upcoming sequel to Star Trek, the Paramount toy licensee will be releasing Star Trek figures and play sets boldy going where no Kre-On has gone before.
